Stumble
By Lisa Kurnosoff

I stumbled upon an old picture,
I thought was a lost song.
And for a second I felt unsure,
If what I felt was right or wrong.

I held it in my hands,
I held it for a while.
I met with it's demands,
And gave a lovely smile.

I looked away,
With memories in mind.
I remembered that day,
When love lingered and the sun shined.

I exhaled,
And excepted what is today.
That ship has sailed,
And can't come back this way.

I took one last glance,
And put it away.
Hoping there's a chance,
That's where it will stay.
